I needed the hands on training most of all and thankfully we had plenty of that throughout the course. The team building exercises were very important and demonstrated how crucial it is to have clear communication with everyone present at the scene of an emergency. Also, Wayne had many personal accounts and examples of himself taking the time to make calm decisions and actions in moments of panic. The most important thing I learned was to be collected and calm no matter what! I feel prepared to take initiative if I find myself alone with victim, as well as if I have help from others.
